Hello friends,

I'm happy to announce that I'm one of the Women In Theatre's awardees. Women In Theatre is an organization that empowers professional performing artists in theatres through performance, education, and networking.  I was inspired to learn that WIT awarded a scholarship to a graduating senior high school student, Bronwyn Reed, from Los Angeles High School last June who plans to continue her education in performing arts at Standford. As an educator, I love it when deserving students get recognition of their hard work and passion. Thanks to WIT for honoring young performers like Bronwyn.  In October, WIT will have their 5th Annual Red Carpet Award event in recognizing several awardees.

The luncheon will take place on October 18, 2008 from 11 am to 2:30 pm at:
