Sue Thomas, who I was fortunate to portray in the TV series “Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye,” will be speaking on May 8 at 7pm at Moorpark Presbyterian Church, 13950 Peach Hill Road, Moorpark, CA, north of Los Angeles. The community is invited to attend and the event is free; a donation will be accepted. Sue will speak her story; an ASL interpreter will interpret for the Deaf/deaf/HOH.
Sue Thomas is an amazing woman with an amazing story. Profoundly deaf from the age of 18 months, she overcame significant obstacles, learning to read lips so well that the FBI put her in surveillance! She also had one of the first ‘hearing’ dogs. These experiences led to a TV series inspired by her life, “Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye."
Now living with Multiple Sclerosis, Sue travels the world with her service dog Katie, inspiring thousands as they laugh, cry and are challenged by her message of hope.
A simple reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.

If you are not in the Los Angeles area but know people who are in the area, spread the word about the Real Sue Thomas visiting. I highly recommend people go. She will naturally reach out to your heart.
For those of you who are going to Women of Faith in Ohio on April 24th weekend, I might see you there as well! I will be in Ohio on April 23rd til 25th.
"Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye" is the first and only drama Animal Planet has had.
I'm sad to tell you that they have now decided that it is not a fit for their network- so they will not be running any more episodes.
While Animal Planet received more letters, emails and phone calls of support for "Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye" than they have ever received for any show - thanks to all of you! - ultimately, the network felt the ratings weren't not what they wanted.
We greatly appreciate your amazing support - and keep checking in, we may soon have some good news to report soon!
If you have time, go to http://extweb.discovery.com/viewerrelations to make a comment on how much you appreciate Fbeye airing on Animal Planet. They like to hear from their viewers.
The FBeye episodes air on Monday nights at 9 pm eastern/pacific time starting from April 6, 2009. I believe the episode with Troy (Deaf guest star) will be airing at the end of April or May 4th. Enjoy!
Thanks for watching us and for supporting the Fbeye team.
